Tommy Mundell
Image At 26 Tommy Mundell has played at some of the best clubs in the country and warmed up for so0me of the biggest Dj’s on the planet

In 199 after years of buying compilations from Jungle to House and Trance Tommy, with a little help from his mother, brought his first set of 1210’s and began learning to mix at home.

At 18 Tommy was playing dark Tribal House and started to promote a night called ‘Deep Tribal Funk’. This was his first experience of playing in front of a crowd, really letting his creativity come out and be heard.

Not too long after this Tommy started ‘Cartel’ based at The Lounge night club in Portsmouth and the night has gone from strength to strength.

Tommy has been fortunate enough to warm up for Josh Wink, Phil Kieran, Mr c, Terry Francis, Adultnapper, Omid 16b, Rui Da Silva, Ashley Casselle and Dj’d at clubs such as The Opera House, Egg, Heaven and at the Hi Fi Festival and is currently in the early stages of music production and hopes to follow in the footsteps of those who have inspired him so far.

Phil Thompson
ImageUnder the moniker of Moonface, Phil Thompson is both a DJ and producer of electronic dance music.

After DJing around his local scene in Southampton for some time he finally got his break, years of continually sending out tracks to labels and Dj's paid off when Danny Howells (then Bedrock resident) picked up his tracks and started playing them. John Digweed heard his stuff, liked it enough to sign him to Bedrock. Following Danny's departure from Bedrock in late 2000 Phil took over the warm up slot for over 5 years.
Moonface's first tracks released on Bedrock 12", double A side featuring 'Futurized Fears' / 'Overactive'.
This was soon followed by a 6 track mini album 'Between Worlds' which was voted album of the month by several magazines. Crossing the boundaries of Techno, House and Trance, layering Synths and tribal beats, an album still worth listening to today, sounding undated and timeless.

His move to Bedrock gave Phil access to a much wider audience playing gigs all over the world from Japan, to South America and many great parties with our neighbours in Europe. This has enabled Phil to build an ever growing following who appreciate his unique style of deep sound tracks along with the odd party anthem to get things moving.
Phil is equally at home building the night from the start with his blend of cool, smooth electronic music, to banging it out at the end.
