Trusting that you've all 'cleaned' up after our one-off opener with Filth at Drift, our second party of the year returns to it's home at The Lounge for an electric combination to send high voltage shock waves straight to yer dancing shoes! Cartel versus Killawatt!!
Cartel's Tim Cook, Phil Thompson & Tommy Mundell join forces with the undeniable genius of Killawatt's Dave Robertson & Jon Gurd to bring you an event worth buying tickets for! I'm so excited about this I'm actually looking forward to the cold November nites!! Definitely put this one in your diaries!
There are so many good nites around at the moment and it's sometimes hard to chose which one to go to but if you came to last year's Cartel with Dave Robertson then you'll remember it as being unrivalled! This time Dave is joined by the equally brilliant Jon Gurd for another live set that you really shouldn't miss! I don't think I need to say much more on that......Oh! except to remind you that all this will be coming to you over a crystal clear 15K Funktion-one sound sytem....that you will be made most welcome at the door whatever you're wearing...and that we're all gonna have a wicked, wicked party!! ROCK ON!!

May 10th! Circle it in your diary/calendar/arm NOW!! Cartel will be taking a break for the Summer and we're gonna throw a party and a half just so you don't forget us when we come back in the Autumn!! (Altho we will be pushin the 'boat out' and returning to the high seas with our old shipmates, the Steamin Crew in June as a 'one off'!!)
We're really excited to bring you a blistering double bill in conjunction with Infectious Breaks for May's event!! Cartel's guest DJ, Tommy Four Seven was picked by IDJ magazine as "one to watch" in 2007 and DJ mag reckon that "Tommy Four Seven is primed to blow them away in 2008". All this before he turned 21!!
Infectious Breaks have thier own very special guest, Plaza De Funk breakin up beats downstairs in Room 2 - I'll leave to the Infectious crew to give you the lowdown on the man himself!
